Will Pete Buttigieg Be the First Openly Gay President of the United States?

Moving into the 2020 presidential election, Mayor Pete Buttigieg appears to have the momentum. He’s 37, an articulate Millennial and our first openly practicing homosexual (with his “spouse” Chasten) seeking to be president of the United States.

USA Today featured him in a front-page story. Previously they interviewed him in an article titled, “Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s countercultural approach to Christianity is what America needs now.”

He calls himself a “devout Christian” advocating Christianity going in a “progressive direction” to be on the “right side of history.”

He’s pro-abortion while regularly quoting Jesus telling listeners to care “for the least of these… “

He wants the electoral college abolished. He criticizes Christian Vice President Mike Pence. His father was a Marxist professor who publicly lauded the Communist Manifesto!

Wednesday evening politicians and pundits said he would be center stage in the Democrat debate.

As Mayor Buttigieg appears to be advancing rapidly in the polls, we need to understand who he is and what he represents. Watch cultural commentator and podcast host Larry Tomczak in this 10-minute video for the fuller story.
