This May Be the Craziest Thing You’ve Seen at a College Football Game

University of Miami football fans who came to see their beloved Hurricanes win a football game Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium witnessed something they probably weren’t expecting. But then, this cat probably wasn’t expecting to find itself in this position, either.

Midway through the game between Miami and Appalachian State, a cat found itself dangling from the upper deck, sending fans into a frenzy. The cat held onto the railing with two paws, but it eventually lost its grip and fell into the lower deck.

The cat was miraculously saved by a fan who caught it with an American flag, no doubt brought there to honor the people who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks. Saturday was the 20th anniversary of that event.

The feline’s savior held the animal up to the crowd in Lion King-esque fashion, earning him a loud ovation from the crowd. {eoa}
