Greg Laurie: Why Living in Sin Makes Christians Miserable

Pastor Greg Laurie says that if you’re a child of God, you will be unhappy while living in sin. The Holy Spirit will nudge you, just as God made Jonah’s life difficult, because He loves you and wants you on the right path.

“If you start to go off course and think something you should not think or do something you should not do and you’re convicted in your heart, that is not a bad thing,” Laurie says. “That is a good thing. The time to be concerned is when you can go and overtly sin, do something the Bible says you should not do, and have no pang of conscience, no sense of guilt or no remorse afterward. That is scary.”
