Samuel Rodriguez said on Fox & Friends that the reason for America’s spiritual paralysis is its dependency on others—including government—over God.
While promoting his new book, You Are Next, Rodriguez said, “The reason I’m paralyzed here and never experienced my miracle is because I depend on other people. It’s about dependency. When we depend on others more than we depend on God, perpetual paralysis will define us. As a nation, when we depend on Uncle Sam and government to raise our children, for our values—here’s something I always preach: Uncle Sam may be our uncle. He will never be our heavenly Father. And we have to deal with the issue of dependency in order to deal with paralysis.”
