Pastor Michael Todd’s Journey From Sound Tech to Lead Pastor

With the goal of presenting “God to the lost and found for transformation in Christ,” Pastor Michael Todd’s sermons from Transformation Church in Bixby, Oklahoma, will air weeknights on TBN.

Of this decision, Matt Crouch, chairman of TBN, sang the young pastor’s praises: “Pastor Todd is part of a new generation of Christian leaders who are boldly speaking the truth and love of Jesus to believers, the church and the culture.”

Todd, 35, started serving at Transformation Church under the leadership of Bishop Gary McIntosh. After 15 years of service, McIntosh entrusted the congregation to Todd in 2015. The church recently celebrated its 22nd anniversary, and Todd recalls his humble start and reflects on where he is with the church now.

“I knew God would use me, but I never thought it would be like this,” Todd says.

Now, Transformation is a thriving, multiethnic and multigenerational congregation that has quickly flourished and become one of the largest faith communities in the U.S.
