Grammy Award-winning gospel singer Le’Andria Johnson performed a truly anointed rendition of “Deliver Me” at the 2021 Gospel Inaugural Celebration Wednesday night.

The gospel concert based at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., featured performances from Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Koryn Hawthorne, JJ Hairston and many other notable gospel artists.

The event also served as a fundraiser for the National Baptist Convention, to narrow the disparity in health care in the Black community as highlighted during the current pandemic.

Johnson’s performance, which can be viewed in its entirety here, brought this time of transition back to its rightful place at the feet of Jesus. She sings, “Through it all, through it all we come back here, God, to say we need you right now.”

Her soulful encouragement holds a powerful truth: “We’re going to be all right; thank you, Lord.”
