‘War Room’ Star Priscilla Shirer: Your Spiritual Strength Rests on This Choice

Share:
Author, actress and evangelist Priscilla Shirer spoke an encouraging word at the virtual Passion Conference at the start of 2021—one that she says is vital to staying strong throughout this continued season of isolation.
It’s true that Jesus is often referred to as the well of living water that never runs dry. And this analogy proves useful when Shirer stresses the importance of some of Jesus’ last words to His disciples before His crucifixion.
“We need something on the inside of us that does not require external circumstances in order to keep it steady,” Shirer says.
Just as a man-made pond dries up when it’s not connected to an outside source, such as an underground spring, if we are not connected to the source of our strength in times of trouble, our strength will dry up.
But Shirer encourages the body of Christ: “There is only one thing that will give you the continued sustenance and nourishment that you need to have a well of joy and hope that overrides during times like these.”
To learn what that one thing is, watch the full message from Shirer here, and allow the Holy Spirit to replenish and refresh you through her inspired words.
