‘More Fun to Give Than to Receive’: Retired Woman Gives Away 60% of Income

When health concerns caused Laura Adams to retire in 2019, she knew God still wanted her to use her time and resources to be a blessing to others. When she saw her community suffering as the pandemic dragged on during 2020, she felt the Lord call her to provide tangible hope.

“The Lord put a fire in me to help them in way I possibly could,” she says in a recent The 700 Club interview.

“I have seen clear evidence across the board where my money has impacted and made a difference,” she says of her generous partnership with CBN News.

That’s why when the Lord told her to increase her giving to 60%, she obeyed without hesitation. “Why shouldn’t we bank on an organization that has the resources to make miracles happen in the name of the Lord?” Watch the rest of her testimony here.
