The timeless holiday film, The Christmas Candle, adapted from bestselling author Max Lucado’s book of the same name, is being released once more for families to enjoy free of charge throughout the Christmas season.

The film, which originally premiered in 2013, features the talents of former Broadway star Samantha Barks, Hans Matheson (Sherlock Holmes) and a special performance from Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle. The charming plot follows the story of a small town candlemaker just before the turn of the 20th century in his attempt to preserve the Christmas candle tradition, and the accompanying Christmas miracle, amidst adversity.

“With Christmas looking different this year, families need positive faith-affirming entertainment options. We hope that the gift of The Christmas Candle will help families enjoy the hope and miracle season, and reinforce the true meaning of Christmas,” Steve Cleary, executive director of Revelation Media, said.
