Jenny Weaver Warns of the Two Priesthoods Rising in 2024

The new year of 2024 has been prophesied over by lots of different voices and ministry leaders, many of which who have warned about a need to cling to Jesus to avoid coming darkness and deception. But what if this goes even deeper than the basics of everything we’ve been taught? What if there are two different priesthoods rising up, one that is blessed, and one that is cursed?

In her prophetic word for 2024, Jenny Weaver gave what she considered a heavy, but important, message to the body of Christ for 2024.

“There are two priesthoods. The first priesthood will be cursed. This is a cursed priesthood. This is an evil priesthood. This is a prideful priesthood. Self-serving, they are lovers of filth. They mishandle God’s people, and they are defiled before the Lord,” Weaver says.

She warns that this is the moment for believers to stop seeking constant, positive messages, and instead take the time to discern spirits from the voices they are listening to and see what it is that God actually wants to do and what He wants to speak.

“The second priesthood will be a faithful priesthood,” Weaver says. “A pure priesthood, righteous, holy, they are ministers after God’s own heart.”

Weaver went back to the Word of God in 1 Samuel chapter 2 where Scripture speaks of how the sons of Eli were corrupt, and did not actually know the Lord, yet they still found themselves in a position where they were ministering in the temple. Just because someone is in a position of authority, it is critical that we test the spirits; not all ministries have the glorification of our heavenly Father at the forefront of their mind. However, because the spiritual watchmen and gatekeepers fell asleep, there are now wolves in the midst of the sheep.

So, what is it that genuine believers need to be in-tune with? Weaver says we must know the fear of the Lord. Staying on the course that the Lord has designated each person and church to be on will be critical for a fruitful 2024.

“The Lord said to me…there are houses of prayer; He has designed you to be a house of prayer for all nations. And the Lord said, ‘Do not change your assignment and go the political route because you see other churches doing that. They have their assignment, you have yours.’ Stay the course and God will continue to bless it. If you get off course, then you’ll do your own thing and whatever happens, happens,” Weaver says.

Keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus will also continue to be a critical, key component of what believers are called to do in 2024.

“We are living in the last days and the deception is going to get worse and worse, and if you are deceived now at the beginning stages of dark deception, what are you going to do when it gets even worse?” Weaver asks.

As we seek the goodness of the Lord, let us not become afraid or grow weary in doing the tasks that God has given to us. Even if they don’t seem to make sense in the moment, God has a plan and a purpose, and we must not question His authority and what He asks of us. Our obedience, and reverence of God’s holiness is what will keep us and propel us as we move forward into this year. {eoa}
