Prophetic Word for October: ‘I Am About to Do the Obvious’

Share:

I never set out to get a specific prophetic word for each month. However, God does often speak specific things to me in the place of prayer before the beginning of a new month. For the month of October Iï¸ believe God is speaking the word, “Obvious”.

Recently, Iï¸ was writing about prayer for a book Iï¸ will be releasing within the next couple of months. Iï¸ was writing a chapter about how when we diligently seek the Lord, we find Him. As Iï¸ was writing, Iï¸ began to pray and remind the Lord about how hardworking Iï¸ am, how Iï¸ fast, pray and give, how Iï¸ am a person of prayer and diligent in seeking the Lord. Iï¸ was bearing my heart before the Lord and asking Him what the holdup is for my breakthrough and so many others. Then the Lord spoke this one word to me” “obvious.”

As Iï¸ continued to seek the Lord, He said this, “Iï¸ am about to do the obvious.” Iï¸ took this as OK, we are doing everything we feel that God has called us to do, just like many others out there. God often does things in our lives that absolutely blow us away because they are unexpected. This will not be true of this season. Instead of doing the unexpected, God is about to do the obvious.

If you see a lady who is eight months pregnant, it is obvious that she is about to have a baby. If you see someone whose yard needs to be mowed, it’s obvious that their grass needs to be cut. There are so many things in your life that you know you need, and God knows you need because they are obvious. God is about to do the obvious for you!

Just a few hours after the Lord spoke this to me, Autumn and Iï¸ got a phone call about something our ministry desperately needs. This phone call was about offering that thing that we obviously needed. Just 3 days before this Iï¸ was in prayer, praying about specific areas of breakthrough. The Lord spoke to me and said, “Declare, declare, declare!” So Iï¸ went and got out all of the prophetic words I have written down and started declaring those promises. After those simple declarations, one thing after another started to fall into place. My friends, this month, in October, the obvious things will begin to happen!

But our responsibility is to declare the word of God over every situation and declare those prophecies that have been given to you.

Don’t get weary or give up in this season because God is about to do the obvious. Declare, declare, declare! Now is the time to declare the written word of God and the prophetic word of God, because the month of October is the month of seeing the obvious things come to pass in your life. {eoa}
