Intercession That Will Change The World

Christians have a duty to intercede for Jewish people in prayer, especially in the End Times.

Especially now that Israel is about to be awakened and must, in order for Yeshua to return to us and take final dominion. So I feel compelled to ask the pastors of the American church, where almost half of the Jewish population in the world resides, what are you doing about this?

Go with me to Ezekiel 36:23-28. Here God is foretelling His glory plan through Israel’s awakening: “I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. The nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the sovereign Lord, when I show myself holy through you before their eyes. For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land. I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all of your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you a heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. You will live in the land I gave your forefathers; you will be my people, and I will be your God.”

We Have A Role To Play

Beloved, I lovingly submit to you that all of these events that I have just described are intricately linked to another, and that indeed the Lord will not return until the enemy has been cast down to the earth and until His firstborn are spiritually awakened along with the end-time harvest of the nations—three of the greatest spiritual battles that the kingdom and His church must be fully immersed in, in order for the end to come. The fact that most of Israel’s spiritual awakening may not actually come down to the end does not separate us from our call to pound the heavens for their rebirth, which is the fiery intercession God is wanting from us at this time.

In the words of one of my spiritual fathers, Pastor Gil Kaplan, in this next awakening, we will see many more believers on their faces, as opposed to their backs on the floor. Not that this is bad, because we all need personal ministry to remain strong in the faith, and we need the full power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. But He wants to increase our focus to include heartfelt supplication with a great cry and weeping for the mercy of God to come upon us for those that are still lost and face a fiery torment, without being awakened from the curse of sin and death. For the heart of our Father is that none would perish!
