How a ‘Burning Bush Encounter’ Can Break Your False Perceptions

Share:

The journey of discipleship and walking with Jesus, the lover of our souls, is one of continually casting away false perceptions that have built false realities of who He is and ultimately who we are.

John the apostle penned the statement that helps us understand the power of having the right perception of who we are and will be when he declares “Beloved, now are we children of God, and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be. But we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is” (1 John 3:2).

As we continually walk with God, there is a powerful transformation taking place. Our perception has the power to free us as well as the power to imprison us. When we walk by faith, we’re walking in the spiritual reality that what is now seen was not made out of things that are visible (Heb. 11:3). It is having the revelation of Jesus Christ frame our worldview and destroy the constructs of comfort zones that are based on a reality found in a worldview that is not conducive to kingdom culture.

In this podcast, we will explore the power of “burning bush encounters” like Moses’ that have the power to break false perceptions and comfort zones in our lives. Just as Moses became captivated by the presence of God and destroyed false perceptions of his identity, the Father is drawing us to be captivated by Him in a way that will destroy the works of the devil that look to imprison us. Burning bush encounters are meant to free us from false perceptions of Jesus that are imprisoning us.
