Larry Ragsdale was planning to propose to his high school sweetheart and best friend, Kelcie Yeoman, at Disneyland in 2010, but a drunk driver changed everything.

Ragsdale was in a coma for months, and Yeoman stayed by his side throughout the ordeal, even getting a job at the adult care facility he was in so she could be near him every day.

Yeoman’s sister made the below video detailing their love story for an Inidegogo campaign, which ran from August to October, to fund the couple’s dream wedding at Disneyland, where Ragsdale had originally planned to propose. Donations exceeded the $20,000 goal, totaling $27,592, and the couple is now in the process of planning the wedding.
