Multi-billionaire and owner of Tesla and X, Elon Musk, is taking on a brand-new venture as he looks for participants in a microchip experiment through neurotechnological company, Neuralink.

Neuralink, founded by Musk in 2016, aims to bridge the gap between the human brain and computers. The ultimate goal is to develop brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) that plans to revolutionize the way we interact with technology. In August 2020, Musk unveiled the latest progress in this endeavor with a live demonstration of the Neuralink microchip implanted into the brain of a pig named Gertrude.

End Time Headlines reported that as the experiment moves in the direction of using actual human participants, the study will last for about six years with the ultimate end goal being for people with the implanted microchips to control computer cursors and keyboard functions. These functions are supposed to help those with issues like paralysis.

Beyond the medical realm, Musk envisions a future where BCIs are as commonplace as smartphones. The real question is: should we want this capability? Even Musk himself has pointed out that: “With AI, we are summoning the demon.”

For years now Christians have debated about whether or not microchips and other technologies reveal the mark of the beast, largely because of Revelation 13:16-17, which reads: “He causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, so that no one may buy or sell, except he who has the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name.”

Only time will tell if this microchip experiment is part of this mark. {eoa}
