Is Jezebel Seducing Children Through 'Drag Queen Story Hour' at Libraries Across America?

"You Won't Believe What Happened at Library's Drag Queen Story Hour."

This was the attention-getting headline last week from Fox News commentator and radio host Todd Starnes. The immensely unsettling story—and even more disturbing photo—detailed how children were "cavorting" on the floor with a man dressed garishly as woman at a "Drag Queen Story Hour" in Portland, Oregon.

LifeSite published the photo that shockingly showed a little girl lying directly on top of the drag queen—but not before the St. John's Library removed the photo from its social media site.

It's well past time for outrage, says author and national radio host Dr. Michael Brown, author of the new book, Jezebel's War With America: The Plot to Destroy Our Country and What We Can Do to Turn the Tide.

"There are some things so wrong that we cannot allow ourselves to get used to them," Brown said. "We must always be outraged over them. Always grieved over them. We can never accept them as the new status quo. The drag-queen assault on our children is one of those things. I'm talking about the celebration of little children in drag. I'm talking about drag queens dancing for our children and reading stories to them. This is unacceptable. This is perverse. This is outrageous. It was bad enough when this happened at gay pride parades. It was even worse when it started to happen in our community libraries."

In Jezebel's War with America, Brown details how the same evil spirit of the biblical figure Queen Jezebel is alive and well today—and how her spirit is evident through the permutation of all things sexual in our society—even, tragically, when it tragically comes to children. Making an extremely valid point regarding the disgusting photo from the Portland library was one parent, who had this to say on Facebook: "I wouldn't let my kids crawl on top of random strangers no matter how said strangers are dressed. Even as a day camp counselor 15 years ago, we were pretty carefully trained about not giving kids piggyback rides or letting them sit on our laps. And if they asked for hugs, we took the side hug approach."

"It wasn't that long ago that LGBT activists were telling us that drag queens were an entirely separate category, not to be confused with transgenders," Brown said. "Drag queens were flamboyant gay men who enjoyed dressing up in drag. They were hardly representative of the gay community at large. Now, here they are, front and center, and they are coming after a very specific target audience: your children.

"You might ask, 'Why do you have to keep bringing these subjects up? Why talk about them so much?' I can answer that in the words of one of my activist friends: 'I'll stop when they stop.' When drag queens stop trying to 'groom' our kids, I'll stop. Yes, those are the words of a drag queen explaining why he wanted to read to toddlers. To quote him exactly, 'This is going to be the grooming of the next generation. We are trying to groom the next generation.' Not on my watch, if I can help it."

Released last month, Jezebel's War with America focuses on the fact that the spirit of the biblical figure Jezebel is at work through the sexual seduction of America, a fascination with witchcraft and sorcery, and radical feminism coupled with the extreme pro-abortion movement, along with other spiritual and cultural forces in an attempt to destroy America. Brown's eye-opening book not only unveils a satanic plot, beginning with an all-out assault on the church, but it will equip every believer with tools to defeat the enemy in their own personal lives as well as in the nation.

The Christian Post also recently reported that "a clinical counselor who has worked with over 4,000 serial predators is urging parents to be vigilant after a Texas library hosted a Drag Queen Story Hour for kids featuring a reader who has a criminal record." David Lee Richardson, who goes by the drag name "Miss Kitty Litter" and has been participating in Drag Queen Story Hour events for the Austin Public Library System over the past year, has a criminal record for prostitution. Two men charged with sexually assaulting a child were also allowed to read to children at a library in Houston last year.

The counselor, Jon Uhler, called the Drag Queen Story Hour events "the greatest grooming program ever devised" and said predators "are laughing all the way to the bank."

"You better believe we should be outraged over reports like this," Brown said. "Activists have gone too far when they start messing with our children. And how terribly misguided are the parents who approve of such stuff. I've had it with headlines announcing, 'Sick All-Ages Drag Show Had Young Kids Handing Bills to Performers.' Enough. That is why I'm going to stay outraged. I will not get used to these perversions. I will not sit back idly when our children are being used and abused. There are far better things to teach them and far better things to spread. So, let the outrage continue. And let that outrage turn to prayer, compassion and courage. This is happening on our watch."
