A son was so “moved by the message” in a Sunday sermon, he tried to slit his father’s jugular vein during the middle of church.
Members of Hillvue Heights Church say an associate pastor tackled son Ethan Buckley before he could kill father David Buckley, both of whom were visitors at the Kentucky church.
“I was praying at the altar when I heard a commotion,” Witness Brent Duvall said. “I thought it was someone going into cardiac arrest or a seizure. I found out it wasn’t that.”
He continued, “It’s a lost and fallen world we live in. It shouldn’t surprise us.”
Police arrested Ethan on charges of assault and first-degree domestic violence. David is still in the hospital, according to the latest reports.
