Texas Gov. Rick Perry signed the state’s 20-week abortion ban into law today even as opponents say it is unconstitutional and plan to contest it in court.
One Houston woman who is against the law is actually making voo-doo dolls of Perry with a slogan that mocks his pro-life stand.
Michelle Sinched told The Houston Press that she is selling the dolls and donating the money to Planned Parenthood.
Perry hasn’t responded directly to reports of the doll, but he did tweet, “I’m proud to have signed HB2 today and ensure Texas’ ongoing commitment to protect life. Thank you to all who #stand4life!”
