'Girl Crush'? Little Big Town Single Enrages Bible-Believing Christians, Sparks Fiery Debate

Pop country music isn't exactly known for its wholesome lyrics, but Little Big Town's latest single may be taking it too far.

"I want to taste her lips
"Yeah, 'cause they taste like you
"I want to drown myself
"In a bottle of her perfume
"I want her long blonde hair
"I want her magic touch
"Yeah, 'cause maybe then
"You'd want me just as much
"I got a girl crush
"I got a girl crush

Radio stations are refusing to play the song in some parts of the country, saying the song normalizes same-sex attraction.

Karen Fairchild, the band's lead singer, however, says that's not the case at all.

"It's a genius lyric, such a beautifully written song about jealousy," Fairchild tells The Washington Post. "It was like, 'Why would we not cut this?'"

So is it about jealousy or passion? And either way, should we be putting this in our spirits? Watch the video and sound off!
