City Harvest Church’s Kong Hee wants to ignite a revival among Muslims, particularly in Indonesia.

“What a big harvest field Indonesia is. The number of Christians has grown from 1.3M to 24M in the past 40 years, making up approximately 10% of the country’s population. Christianity is Indonesia’s second-largest religion, making it the second largest Christian population in Southeast Asia. With such a ready harvest field, it is so necessary for church-building work to be done in this wonderful nation, and that is why I love doing missions in Indonesia,” the pastor posted to Facebook.

Kong has been traveling through Southeast Asia in recent weeks, seeing miracles and healings break out as he laid hands on people.

With his sights set on Indonesia, he is fervently praying for Muslim conversions and assisting with a local church.

“During my 5 days at Bandung last week, apart from spending time with some of my many disciples over meals, prayers and fellowship, I ministered at El-Shaddai Creative Community. ECC’s senior pastors are Rev. Nala and Evie Widya. In the 1980s, Nala was a champion cycling athlete, but because of an accident that almost cost him his life, Nala had to retire. The loss for sports was a gain for God’s kingdom when Nala became a pastor. I first met Nala in 2003 when ECC had only 150 members. Now, they are 2,000 strong and rapidly growing through actual soul-winning!” Kong wrote.

Muslims are rapidly converting to Christianity around the world, according to several reports.

In India, a Muslim doctor found Jesus and planted more than 50 churches. In Nigeria, radical Islamic persecution fuels a diaspora, which rapidly spreads the gospel.

As for other parts of Asia, Kong says he is focusing on small-group training.

“The focus of my time at ECC was to teach on Home Cell Group Leadership, which is a very important part of every growing and healthy church. For 40 years, Dr. Yonggi Cho has pioneered the modern concept of the ‘cell groups,’ which has become a major catalyst of church growth to the body of Christ. Just think about it, Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul is the world’s largest church with 830,000 members, and yet it could quickly and effectively provide care for its entire membership through such a simple pastoral structure and system. In a sense, Jesus is the greatest cell group leader ever!” Kong wrote.
