American Military Leadership Continues Descent Into Leftism

If you can’t trust the second-highest ranking uniformed officer in the Navy, who can you trust?

In June 2022, four-star Admiral William Lescher gave a deposition regarding Navy SEALS who filed religious exemptions from getting the COVID shot. Lescher had previously claimed that receiving the COVID shots were a matter of national security.

Shockingly, this did not turn out to be the case. The admiral was forced to admit that he is currently “unaware” of any missions performed by the Navy SEAL teams that were negatively impacted by members being unvaccinated.

To date, the Navy has not issued a single religious exemption among the 4,244 requests that are pending approval. But this is not the only case within the military for which the careers of service members hang in the balance.

Recently, the Liberty Counsel took the case of a Marine who objected to the vaccine on religious grounds. Prior to reaching out to Liberty Counsel, the Marine was given two day’s notice of separation, which is extraordinarily unusual and unethical. Another example is Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier, removed from Space Force command for criticizing critical race theory.

These incidents, along with the mass separations that occurred to other service members who refused the jab, show how hostile the Biden Department of Defense has become to those who don’t fall in line with “the message.” This same message has influenced the military academies that are instructing these officers who are more politician than war-fighter.

As these ideologies seep into the American military services, the Marxist roots they are derived from take hold as well. These beliefs, based on the political viewpoints of an atheist, run opposite of the Judeo-Christian principles this country was founded on.

Citizens need to ask themselves, why are these actions, ideologies and punishments happening in every aspect of American society?

A base-level answer is to change the culture. Military culture is already undergoing change to fall in line with the CRT and LGBTQ belief system. College campuses began undergoing that change in the 1960s, and now elementary, middle and high schools are teaching the same principles and ideologies of the universities to impressionable, young minors.

This attack on service members is only a symptom of the wider pattern of “woke” ideology trying to reshape American values. While groups such as Liberty Counsel and others are taking up the fight, more Christians need to stand up and recognize the deceptions that Satan is using to influence the lost to do his bidding. Remember Jesus’ words in Matthew 7:15-16 on being deceived: “‘Beware of false prophets who comes to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruit. Do men gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?'” {eoa}
