Rand Paul Asks the Church: Help Me Defund Planned Parenthood (Video)

Share:

When I saw all of those undercover videos showing Planned Parenthood’s chief abortionist admit they routinely skirt laws against partial-birth abortion to kill unborn babies, dismember them and sell their body parts for profit, it sickened my stomach. I vowed to do everything I could to strip them of every last dime of taxpayer dollars.

We cannot let this continue.

As a pastor, I’m sure you have a wide and far-reaching network of folks who can help sound the alarm and rally the silent majority to stand up and demand Congress vote to defund Planned Parenthood.

That’s why I’m writing you today—to ask you to help mobilize the grassroots pressure it’s going to take to force the Senate to strip Planned Parenthood of every last penny of taxpayer dollars.

In a few days, Congress will be returning to Washington and the Senate will be debating taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood.  We need your help.

Will you call your Senators and Representative and urge them to vote to defund Planned Parenthood and will you ask your congregation to do the same?

You can find the numbers of your Congressman and Senators at defundtoday.com.

I’m also asking you to preach a sermon on abortion and our responsibility as Christians to express our opinion to our elected officials on this issue.  As a help for you there are Sermon notes at defundtoday.com.

I am also asking you to lead your congregation in a time of earnest prayer to move Congress to have compassion on the unborn and stop the funding of Planned Parenthood.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Together, you and I can force Congress to defund Planned Parenthood.

In Liberty,
Rand Paul
