Will You Recognize the Antichrist When He Comes?

Will you recognize the Antichrist when he comes?

  • Don’t expect the antichrist to show up with a giant blinking sign proclaiming him as the prophesied beast.

Though Revelation says he will rise out of the sea with seven heads and 10 horns, there are much subtler signs we must be weary of:

  • 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 “Even him, whose coming is in accordance with the working of Satan with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all deception of unrighteousness among those who perish, because they did not receive the love for the truth that they might be saved. Therefore God will send them a strong delusion, that they should believe the lie: that they all might be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
  • Revelation 16:14 “For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, who go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.”
  • Matthew 7:15, 16 “Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruit. Do men gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?”
