Joel Rosenberg: Israel Is Headed Toward a Historic Romans 11:26 Moment

With the current war started by Hamas and supported financially and militarily by Iran, All Israel News’ Joel C. Rosenberg says there is little doubt that Israel is going through one of the darkest moments in its storied history.

But Rosenberg is also convinced that the nation of Israel is headed for some glorious times where Jews from the Holy Land will be saved and grafted into the family of Jesus Christ, thus thwarting the enemy’s plans to ultimately send them to the most undesirable place one could ever imagine.

Through the Joshua Fund, founded by Rosenberg and his wife in 2006 with a desire to mobilize Christians to “bless Israel and her neighbors in the name of Jesus,” Joel Rosenberg says we are headed toward a Romans 11:26 moment where he believes “all Israel will get saved.”

Romans 11:25-26 reads, “For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, lest you be wise in your own estimation, for a partial hardening has come upon Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: ‘The Deliverer will come out of Zion, and He will remove ungodliness from Jacob.'”

Rosenberg, who has a dual citizenship between Israel and the Unites states, has written several fiction books in the past, but many have turned out to be prophetic.

The Hamas war appears to have sparked unity in the Israeli government, and that Scripture is being confirmed.

“Remember, the Scriptures say that the sons of Issachar were men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do,” Rosenberg told Pastor Greg Laurie on a recent podcast. “So, we need to pray because none of our leaders knew Jesus personally. Most aren’t even religious, and they don’t read the Bible. So that’s why we have to intercede right now.

“That’s what Christians are doing. We intercede for people who don’t have the wisdom of God because they don’t have God’s Spirit in them. We need to do that. We need to pray and intercede for Palestinians who are grieving right now. They are not going to experience the peace that passes all comprehension because they don’t know the God of peace, but we can intercede just like Abraham interceded for Sodom and Gomorrah.

“I’m not saying Israel is Sodom and Gomorrah right now, but intercession is right just as Jesus prayed and wept over the city of Jerusalem, saying My people don’t understand this. Lord, help them even from the Cross, Father. Forgive them, they don’t know that they’re doing.”

Since its inception 17 years ago, Rosenberg says the Joshua Fund has raised more than $100 million dollars into strengthening the local churches in Israel and the Palestinian territories, but also in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iraq and Egypt—dominantly Muslim countries.

The organization has given massive humanitarian relief in their territories. Rosenberg says the main focus of the Joshua Fund is to educate the church to understand God’s love and plan for Israel and her neighbors and the prophecies for the future and how to invest in and strengthen the church today so it can fulfill The Great Commission—which, Rosenberg says, has not been fulfilled in 2,000 years.

Reaching the people of Israel with the gospel of Christ, Rosenberg says, has been one of the biggest challenges known to man—ever.

“I often say that it if were easy to reach Israel with the gospel it would have been done by now,” Rosenberg says. “But He (Jesus) came to His own, the Jews, and His [own people] received Him not.

“That’s why the Joshua Fund is literally on the front lines. We have teams all over the country on a normal day, but especially right now. … Not only are we [sharing] the gospel and strengthening pastors and equipping the church in every practical and specific ways, but we’re doing human relief through the local churches so that nobody knows about the Joshua Fund in Israel, but is receiving the emergency relief they need through local and Palestinian believers who love Jesus. That’s the most practical way to bless Israel right now and hopefully they will realize soon that it is all coming from the love of Jesus.” {eoa}
