Christian Webinar Today on Israel’s Response to Coronavirus Crisis and Rising Anti-Semitism

Share:

As the coronavirus pandemic continues, the U.S. Branch of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) is partnering with the Combat Anti-Semitism Movement (CAM) to host an important digital event, “Israel’s Response to the Coronavirus Crisis and Rising Anti-Semitism” Thursday, April 2, at 4 p.m. EST. Register here to join the event on Zoom or watch on Facebook Live.

This extraordinary virtual event will feature Israeli politicians, medical and technology professionals, and Christian leaders who will give an up-to-the-minute update on: events taking place in Israel during the challenging time, how this pandemic is being used by anti-Semites to blame the Jewish people, and how Christians can respond.

One of the most basic Jewish principles is Pikuach Nefesh, the preservation of human life. The speakers will discuss how Israel is acting upon this principle by developing ways to defeat the coronavirus through artificial intelligence; digital technology; and groundbreaking diagnostics, treatments and vaccines. You will hear also how more than 70 Israeli companies are harnessing “HealthTech” to combat COVID-19.

Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic has also given rise to an increase in anti-Semitism and bigots everywhere are using the crisis to scapegoat Israel and the Jewish people. At this digital event, you will hear how these efforts are manifesting and what is being done to counter it. Most importantly, you will learn how the Christian community can help stand up for the Jewish State and people during these challenging times.

Speakers include: Ambassador Dani Dayan, consul general of Israel in New York; Olga Deutsch, vice president of NGO Monitor: Anti-Semitism & the Coronavirus; Dr. Osnat Levtzion-Korach, director-general of Assaf Harofeh Medical Center; Susan M. Michael, USA director of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem; Aviv Shoher, chief executive officer at Ichilov Tech at Tel Aviv Medical Center; Juliana Taimoorazy, president of Iraqi Christian Relief Council. Special Music will be provided by Aaron Shust, Dove award-winning Christian artist.

Co-sponsors include: American Christian Leaders for Israel (ACLI), Sweden Israel Alliance, Belgian Friends of Israel, Faith Wins, The Lawfare Project, and the International Movement for Peace and Coexistence.

Register here to join the event on Zoom or watch on Facebook Live.
