Removing the Spirit of Rebellion in Your Family Line Frees You to Walk in the Fullness of Your Salvation!

God’s Word says…

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king” (1 Sam. 15:23).

When we operate out of the spirit of rebellion, we walk in agreement with the flesh rather than in agreement with the Spirit.

What we, as believers, need to understand is that rebellion is part of our Adamic nature. The Adamic nature of mankind has been in rebellion to God and His Word since the garden. We, by nature, are in opposition to God’s authority. Therefore, there is a human struggle to obey God. Because of past generational sin, there is an accuser bringing accusations against us day and night. And when there is a cause for sin to enter in, it will, leading to generational curses.

The Spirit of Rebellion in Global Systems

The spirit of rebellion says, “God is not in charge. I am.” It doesn’t want to bend to the Word of God, or to repent. It wants to make the rules. It wants to determine who and what is worthy and important, disregarding what God says.

We have a choice. We can choose today to walk either in agreement with rebellion, or to walk in agreement with God. What we choose will establish a path for the next generation.

If you are struggling with a lack of passion for spiritual things, excessive frustration and doubt that God is good and faithful, then the spirit of rebellion is at work.

The good news is the blood of Jesus washes you clean!

Enter the courts of heaven and cancel the spirit of rebellion in your family

This is a prayer I’ve prayed to cancel the spirit of rebellion in my family:

“Father God, in the name of Yeshua, I lift up the Lord’s prayer in the courts of heaven. I move into the room of atonement right now. Father, cleanse me with the blood of Yeshua from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. Father God, You are my Father in heaven. I declare in the mercy court that Your name is above every name. Lord, I ask for freedom today in my family line from the spirit of rebellion all the way back to the garden. I come out of agreement with it.

“I identify it and repent of it for my family. I forgive my family and those who did not renounce it. Lord, I ask that this be recorded in the heavenly books: The [say your last name here] family will have no rebellion on the record. The blood of Yeshua has expunged the sin of rebellion and removed it from our DNA. I ask, Lord, that You replace rebellion with obedience, love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, self-control, long-suffering, wisdom, knowledge, understanding and compassion. In Yeshua’s name, Amen!”

If you start to feel the spirit of rebellion trying to creep back into your mind, ask God to remind you of the court record. Declare your freedom in Christ, and continue to walk in obedience! {eoa}
