Larry Tomczak’s Week in Review: Why Are These Influential People Killing America?

In the Sermon on the Mount, the greatest Teacher who ever lived gave the greatest sermon ever given. Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, they shall be called the children of God” (Matt. 5:9).

If ever America needed this message, it’s now. Probably the only other time in America’s history where there was more division was during the Civil War era.

So why is Mr. Biden telling Black students at Howard University that America’s greatest problem is white supremacists? And why is the “queen of media,” Oprah Winfrey, telling African-American graduates at Tennessee State University how terrible America is and rehearsing a litany of eight areas that will stir up further division and discontent?

An Urgent Memorial Day Wake-Up Call for America and the Church

“We have forgotten God, and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own” —Abraham Lincoln.

Over the last few decades, Americans have seen the destruction of the institution of marriage between a man and a woman, the removal of God’s Word in several areas and the aborting of millions of babies. Ironically, many of the men and women who died for our freedoms did not die for what we are becoming today. Many gave their lives in order that we would be “one nation under God,” not above God.

For Your Tomorrows

A Fifth Division graveyard sign in Iwo Jima, Japan, states it well: “When you go home, tell them for us and say, ‘For your tomorrows we gave our today.'” What a travesty when we fail to honor those who gave their lives for the freedoms we now enjoy. This Memorial Day, let’s remember those who gave their lives and those who continue to defend our freedoms.

Roger Waters Blasted for Performing in SS Uniform in Berlin, ‘Desecrating the Memory of Anne Frank’ and Holocaust Victims

Roger Waters, the former vocalist and bassist for the famous band Pink Floyd, put on yet another performance with strong anti-Semitic undertones, when he dressed up as an SS officer during his recent concert at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin last week.

The performance featured a crucifix-shaped screen that displayed a wide variety of slogans attacking the “powers that be,” in addition to humanoid pigs and shady-looking businessmen “pulling the strings”. It also displayed an announcement which read that a court in Frankfurt, Germany had ruled that Waters is not an anti-Semite, along with the words: “Just to be clear, I condemn anti-Semitism unreservedly.”

On screen were a variety of names related to the Holocaust, such as Anne Frank, proceeded by a list of names, such as Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, who was accidentally killed during a shootout between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian terrorists in Jenin, implying that the two figures should be likened to one another. {eoa}
