Marilyn Hickey Shares God’s Love With Muslims in Iran

Iran has been on my heart for some years. The goal of my heart is to have a cultural exchange on healing in perhaps one of the universities with a mullah in which the Muslims will explain what the Quran says about Jesus and healing and I will explain what the Bible says about Jesus and healing, and then pray for the sick and witness a demonstration of God’s power.

That is what God has put on my heart. You have to understand that Iran welcomes tourists from every place but America. So, it is challenging to get in, but it is also wonderful because you have the tomb of Ester and Mordecai, you have the tomb of Daniel, you have the tomb of Cyrus, Darius and Xerxes. Iran is very connected with the Book of Daniel, and they are very free to tell you that they allowed 500,000 Jews to go back to rebuild their land.

I go to various places but they watch every movement I make. I cannot do anything without the tour company being with me in the presence of whomever I talk to. Of course, I have to cover my head the whole time. I have to dress as they dress, which is not a problem. They are lovely, lovely people.

Iranians do not hate America. Actually they love Americans, but getting in and doing things is very challenging and they are not afraid to really punish if you don’t wear the head scarf. If they catch you three times and you go to prison. They will kill you for certain things there with no questions.

But, God loves Iran. God loves the Shiite Muslims, and that is on my heart.

I’ve gone twice to Iran and I’m building relationships, and I want to go again because I believe God is going to bring this to pass. God so loved the world, and that includes Iran.
