As Christians, one of the most important times of the year for us to remember and celebrate is Passover.

My friend Chuck Pierce hosts an exciting event every year at his Global Spheres Center in Corinth, Texas, north of Dallas. He has invited me to be one of this year’s speakers. I hope to see many of you there or encourage you to watch through live streaming on the Internet.

Chuck calls it “Passover Celebration 5774: Enter Into Resurrection Power!” The event runs from April 17–20, Thursday evening through Sunday at noon.

Chuck told me, “This year, 2014-5774, a year of the door, I believe this Passover is particularly important as we celebrate pressing through a narrow place of confinement to enlargement and from captivity to freedom!”

I believe God has given me a message about crossing through that door in three areas of life. I’ll share from my own experiences, including coming through my recent battle with cancer. I may write about it later, but for now let me just pique your interest so you’ll register or watch it on the live stream.

It’s an honor to be on a speaking team with Chuck Pierce, Bobby Conner, Cindy Jacobs, Daniel and Amber Pierce, Jenny Watson, Peter Wagner, Robert Heidler, Sergio Scataglini, Tom Hess and others.

There is no cost to attend on-site or to join the live webcast. Pre-registration is closed, but you can still register on-site beginning Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Web visitors can register when they sign on to the live webcast. For more details, you can visit gloryofzion.org.

Several years ago, I attended one of Chuck’s conferences in Corinth. It was a great blessing. Chuck has been a friend to my wife, Joy, and me for many years, and we have used him as a “spiritual consultant.” I have had the privilege of publishing several of his books, most recently Interpreting the Times: How God Intersects With Our Lives to Bring Revelation and Understanding.

For those attending, we are offering a complimentary subscription to Charisma to introduce new people to the magazine. We will make the same offer to those who watch via the live stream.

For four decades, I’ve served as a journalist in the Christian community. I’m not a preacher. But I am an observer of trends and what God is doing.

Chuck asked me many months ago to speak, saying he felt he had heard from the Lord. While speaking on a national platform like this is something I do infrequently, I’m excited about this opportunity. I believe I have a message from God, and I decided today to write this to encourage you to attend.

If you plan to attend or if Chuck Pierce’s ministry has blessed you, please leave your comments below.
