Governments Clamping Down on Gay Opposition in a Major Way

Who didn’t see this coming? How long did we actually think we could preach and teach the entire Bible and not face consequences? More and more reports have been circulating regarding governments clamping down on any opposing view of “same sex marriages” or what the Bible views as abominations. One organization in the Netherlands is finding this out as we speak. According to a report, Dutch Christian charity recently had its government funding cut after pressure from MPs over its stance in opposition to active homosexual relationships.

The charity isn’t allowing this to stop them and has insisted it will carry on regardless of the funding being cut. According to the report, government minister Jet Bussemaker said Hart van Homo’s would not receive further government money after the Netherlands’ ruling Party for Freedom and Democracy argued the charity, which encourages celibacy for gay Christians, sent out the wrong message.

Recently we also reported on a story of a judgment that been filed in a federal court in Massachusetts seeking the end to a lawsuit by a coalition of Ugandan “gays” who contend an American pastor was not protected by the First Amendment when he was speaking in the United States about homosexuality. The homosexuals claimed that Lively’s comments about homosexuality were “crimes against humanity” and are forbidden under international law.

And then recent news out of Canada sent shockwaves across the World regarding “Freedom of Speech” when Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced a bill that would criminalize anti-transgender speech, with violators receiving up to two years in prison. The new bill, introduced May 17 on the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, aimed to amend the Canadian Criminal Code to expand the country’s “hate speech” prohibitions to include any public speech or communication that “promotes hatred” on the basis of “gender identity” or “gender expression.”  Are pastors truly ready to preach the gospel and face true persecution with funds cut and possible prison time? It may not be here in America yet but we can surely see this tide coming very quickly! {eoa}
