Charisma News Brief: UN’s New Fact-Checking System Appears ‘Tyrannical’

Share:

The United Nations has unveiled an “automated” fact-checking service it claims will counter disinformation and hate speech throughout the Internet. But don’t think it’s going to do any favors for conservative media outlets.

End times expert Michael Snyder says the UN’s has developed its new iVerify system in conjunction with big tech companies and George Soros-funded organizations. It is designed to crack down on “disinformation” and “hate speech all over the globe,” something similar to the Biden administration’s “Disinformation Governance Board,” a group that was “paused” after only three weeks in the spring of 2022.

Snyder says that the mainstream media has been silent about this new technology, but “perhaps that is because they don’t want millions of us to object to this sort of tyranny.

“Our world is becoming a creepier place with each passing day,” Snyder says. “Most of us want to live our lives in peace without excessive government interference, but unfortunately the control freaks that are running things just can’t help themselves.

“Ultimately, they aren’t going to be happy until they are able to watch, track, monitor and control virtually everything that we write, say and do. A new tool that was just introduced by the UN will make it much easier for them to control what we write on the Internet,” he adds.

The developers of iVerfy claim that “online information pollution” is a “global challenge.” The UN’s new “automated fact-checking tool” was developed in partnership with the United Nations International Computing Centre, Facebook and Google-funded fact checker Meedan, the Meta-owned CrowdTangle and the Soros-funded International Fact-Checking Network.

That alone should tell you any conservative media outlets who try to expose the truth of the left’s lies and misinformation could be in big trouble. {eoa}
