Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan is calling for 10,000 to “stalk and kill” those who are trying to kill them.
“Ten thousand fearless men who say death is sweeter than continued life under tyranny,” Farrakhan said, according to Breitbart News. “Death is sweeter than continuing to live and bury our children while the white folks give our killers hamburgers. Death is sweeter than watching us slaughter each other to the joy of a 400-year-old enemy. Death is sweeter.”
Farrakhan made the comments at a Miami church as part of his national tour, which will culminate in the 20th Anniversary of the Million Man March.
The “Justice or Else” promotes a retaliation against the police brutality that killed Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Eric Garner and Freddie Gray.
Of their deaths, Farrakhan says: “The Quran teaches persecution is worse than slaughter. Then it says retaliation is prescribed in matters of the slain. Retaliation is a prescription from God to calm the breasts of those whose children have been slain. So if the federal government won’t intercede in our affairs, then we must rise up and kill those who kill us; stalk them and kill them and let them feel the pain of death that we are feeling!”
Several of Farrakhan’s fans commented on Facebook that they are looking forward to the final event, to be held at the National Mall in October.
One commenter posted: “ALLLAAAH U AKBAR!!!…….IM GETN READY FOR OCTOBER 15 IN D.C. LOOKN FORWARD TO STANDING WITH MY FATHER, THE HONORABLE MINISTER LOUIS FARRAKHAN!!. 20 YEARS LATER,…..IM STILL WITH YOU BROTHER MINISTER,….AND I AINT CHANGE’N FOR NOTHIN IN THIS WORLD. THERE’S NOTHIN THAT WILL TURN ME AWAY FROM YOU SIR…..THEY HAVE NOTHING OF ANY VALUE WORTH THAT,…..I’D RATHER BE DEAD. PRAISE BE TO ALLAH FOR THE HONORABLE ELIJAH MUHAMMAD, AND THE HONORABLE MINISTER LOUIS FARRAKHAN!!!”
Meanwhile, some are asking why the Obama administration appears to be ignoring the call for violence.
“It’s been nearly a week since Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan called on his followers to rise up and kill their perceived enemies, and the silence of the Obama Justice Department has been deafening,” writes Debra Heine for PJMedia. “Likewise, the MSM has been shamefully quiet, too—as if this is acceptable behavior for the leader of a 50,000-strong denomination. It most certainly isn’t.”
She points to the “Brandenberg Test,” writing that Farrakhan has clearly violated acceptable free-speech limits.
“When Louis Farrakhan tells Nation of Islam followers that the Quran prescribes murderous ‘retaliation’ for perceived grievances—’stalk them and kill them and let them feel the pain of death’—that is literal. That should pique the media’s interest,” she writes.
