Police say they found a New Jersey man with an arsenal of guns, Nazi paraphernalia and “an instruction manual for owning a slave.”

The suspect is allegedly a drug dealer and was caught with diverse weapons, including a semiautomatic assault pistol, a loaded pistol, two shotgun barrels, a grenade launcher, an ax handle, a set of brass knuckles, a wooden baseball bat and a hefty amount of ammunition.

Police stumbled upon the disturbing scene when Joseph Rubino crashed his car July 24. In his car, police found a disturbing number of weapons. After raiding his home, they found even more weapons, including an assault rifle, two semiautomatic rifles, two semiautomatic handguns, multiple shotguns, multiple magazines and a ballistic vest.

They also found drugs in 57-year-old Rubino’s home: 2.5 ounces of methamphetamine and over six pounds of marijuana.

While searching his residence, police uncovered an “instruction manual” for owning slaves with a racial expletive in the title. The document contained racist and white supremacist language. In the same box authorities found the manual, they also found clothing and bumper stickers with neo-Nazi symbols.

Police say they still don’t know exactly why Rubino had so many weapons. It is not clear at this time if he intended to use them or actually try to own a slave, according to reports.

Rubino was charged with possession with “intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of firearms in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime and possession of firearms by a convicted felon,” according to The New York Post.
