Is George Soros the Antichrist?

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani retweeted a message that labeled world mogul George Soros as the Antichrist.

Soros’ recent money trails link him to Judge Brett Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford.

Many charismatic Christians labeled the accusations as spiritual warfare.

“Never have I been more convinced that a war of historical proportions is underway for the soul of our nation,” apostle Dutch Sheets says. “A war that will have worldwide implications. Like Israel, America’s role on the earth is extremely significant.”

Prophetic voice Cindy Jacobs said the attacks were a result of Molech losing his grip on America.

Frank Gaffney, the president and CEO of Center for Security Policy, says that while Soros may not be the head honcho himself, he’s associated with the end-times beast.

“Is George Soros the Antichrist? While former New York mayor Rudi Giuliani has put the question in play, theologians may be better equipped to debate it than politicians,” Gaffney says.

“The decades-long record of this billionaire financier and philanthropist, however, is one of such malevolence and destruction that he must at a minimum be considered the anti-Christ’s right-hand man,” Gaffney continues.

“After all, Soros has destroyed national currencies and economies, with ruinous effects on millions of innocent people. He has cynically professed his commitment to ‘open societies,’ while using his immense wealth to undermine democratically elected governments. In France, he is a convicted felon. And Soros has invested in countless initiatives that have helped fracture this country, while helping its enemies, foreign and domestic. Revelation describes the Antichrist in Chapter 13:

I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, with ten crowns on his horns, and blasphemous names on his heads. The beast which I saw was like a leopard. His feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority. I saw one of his heads as if it was mortally wounded, but his deadly wound was healed, and the whole world marveled and followed the beast. They worshipped the dragon who gave authority to the beast. And they worshipped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to wage war with him?”

He was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies. And he was given authority to wage war for forty-two months. He opened his mouth to speak blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle and those who dwell in heaven. It was granted to him to wage war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe and tongue and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, all whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb who was slain from the foundation of the world.

If anyone has an ear, let him hear: “He who is to be taken captive, into captivity he shall go; he who kills with the sword, with the sword he must be killed.”

Here is a call for the patience and the faith of the saints.

Then I saw another beast rising out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb and he spoke like a dragon. He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence and causes the earth and those who dwell on it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. He performs great signs, making fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. He deceives those who dwell on the earth by the signs which he was granted to do in the presence of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by a sword and lived. He was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, so that no one may buy or sell, except he who has the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name.

Here is a call for wisdom: Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast. It is the number of a man. His number is six hundred and sixty-six (Rev. 13:1-18).

In 1 John 2, however, John described multiple Antichrists who deny Christ as their key characteristic.

Little children, it is the last hour. As you have heard that the antichrist will come, even now there are many antichrists. By this we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us, for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have remained with us. But they went out, revealing that none of them were of us.

But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. I have written to you, not because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? Whoever denies the Father and the Son is the antichrist. No one who denies the Son has the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father (1 John 2:18-23).
