Did Madonna Truly Have a Heavenly Visit?

Did God speak to Madonna?

The pop singer says she heard from God while hospitalized for a “serious bacterial infection” last summer.

As Fox News reported, Madonna claims to have had a near-death experience where she was in a coma for a bacterial infection. She says her awakening with the word “no” was her reply back to God after being asked if she wanted to be with Him.

“I’m pretty sure that was God saying to me, ‘Do you want to come? Want to come up with me?” Madonna said.

While the pop star admitted that she did not want to go with God, her experience placed her in a position where she could not control every detail about her life. She continued to feel sick, leaving her to call her doctor frequently.

“It was strange to finally not feel like I was in control, and that was my lesson, to let go,” she said.

She also reflected on using expletives when her manager asked her what recovery timeframe she hoped for before heading back on tour.

“He said, ‘Well, when do you think you want to go back on tour?’ I took the oxygen out of my nose. I looked at him, and I said, ‘in two (expletive) months!” Madonna said.

She further noted that there are times you have to say things “out in the universe” for them to happen.

As USA Today also reported, the singer mentioned back in December how it was a ‘miracle’ that she was still alive after genuinely believing she would not survive from the infection.

While Madonna has certainly not been known for her faith or belief in God, she clearly believes something exists and is grateful to be alive. Perhaps this is the moment to press in and pray that she would come to fully know and understand the love of Christ. {eoa}
