The trial for ‘cult mom’ Lori Vallow revealed the hostile relationship between her and her deceased ex-husband prior to his homicide in the summer of 2019.

According to Fox News, text messages were discovered between Lori and Charles Vallow shortly before he died.

“You have destroyed me. I have never been lower in life,” Charles Vallow wrote. “We have a son to raise. That’s all we have in common.” Vallow sent the text at the end of June in 2019.

As Charisma News reported, Lori Vallow is under trial for murdering her children, 7-year old J.J. Vallow, and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan, with her husband, Chad Daybell. The two have also been accused of murdering Daybell’s ex-wife, Tammy Daybell, with all deaths occurring between September and November 2019.

Prior to the deaths of Vallow’s children, Charles Vallow found a letter signed with his name that he did not write, according to Arizona police. In the letter, Vallow asks Chad Daybell to ghostwrite a book for him. The email was connected to Lori Vallow’s number.

Justin Lum from Fox 10 shared the letter on Twitter. It read: “This is Charles Vallow from Arizona. We really enjoyed having you stay with us back in November at the Prepare A People Conference.”

The letter continued: “I appreciate you taking time to talk to me about the book I’ve been working on…I’m going to have the opportunity to speak at various conventions beginning in the fall, but everyone says I need to have a book available that summarizes my life and shares the principles I follow.”

The letter then got into the offer for Daybell to ghostwrite Vallow’s book. “So I will cut to the chase. I’m willing to pay you well to help me get this book into shape as my ghostwriter.”

The discovery of the letter led Charles Vallow to confront his wife about her affair with Daybell, and he attempted to share with Tammy Daybell about the affair that their spouses were having.

Charles Vallow was later allegedly shot by Lori Vallow’s brother in July. Vallow’s brother died the same year in December from a supposed blood clot.

This complex, twisted slew of deaths, emails and threats are a glimpse of how dangerous it is when Satan is allowed to manipulate and control someone’s life.

As Charisma News reported, Chad Daybell was an apocalyptic author who spun off of Mormon teachings, which eventually led Lori Vallow to believe it was her mission to set her children free from their earthly bodies. Vallow also believed she was “assigned to carry out the work of the 144,000 at Christ’s Second Coming,” as a “goddess” with supernatural powers.

Christians must make every attempt to not be deceived by the enemy of our souls. Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy. What happened here with the Vallow and Daybell families shows the destructive work of Satan and how we must be on guard to stand against false teaching and preaching or else we will perish with it.
