AG Pastor: Why God Has Called You to Stoke the Revival Fire in America

Assemblies of God Pastor Jamie Morgan says many people in the body of Christ are hesitant to label themselves a revivalist. Don’t count Morgan among them.

In fact, she uses that term for herself with boldness and without reservation. It’s what led her recently to launch her podcast, Fire Starter With Dr. Jamie Morgan, on the Charisma Podcast Network. Starting a full-fledged revival in America—and around the world—has not only become a passion for Morgan, it has become her kingdom mission.

“As believers, we I think we have all longed to see the glory of God fall and for His presence to manifest,” Morgan told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network. “If we don’t deliberately and strategically fuel our passion for revival, our heart can become crowded with the issues of life, and our passion for revival can wane. So, my podcast, Fire Starter, is a way that you can intentionally keep your fire for revival.

“Don’t you hate it when you get a flat tire and, oftentimes, maybe it was a slow leak over time? We don’t realize it, but we walk out one day, and our tire is flat. That can happen to anyone’s Christian walk. We can develop a slow leak. So, I’m hoping that my podcast will help stoke that revival fire that God has placed in the hearts of my listeners.

“I believe one of the reasons why God had me launch this podcast is to be almost like a real field reporter. I truly believe that we are on the precipice of revival, and God needs his reporters out there to report on what He is doing and the ways the fire of God is descending upon different parts of the nation and the world.”
