The Ongoing Fight Against the Jewishness of Jesus

You would think this would be pretty easy to get right: According to the Gospels, Yeshua (Jesus) was born a Jew in an ancient Jewish city in the historic land of Israel. But no, all this must be disputed, after all, how can Jesus be the liberator of the oppressed if He Himself was born to an oppressor people in an oppressor city? The narrative must be changed.

That’s why, for many years, we have heard that “Jesus was a Palestinian,” or, more fully, “Jesus was a Palestinian freedom fighter,” suggesting that He led an armed revolt against—guess who?—the Israeli Jews!

In the words of Hamid Dabashi, in an op-ed published on Dec. 25, 2018, on Aljazeera News, “Remember: Christ was a Palestinian refugee.”

Pastor Leads Protest Against ‘Nasty’ Christmas Event

In Bakersfield, California, a local pastor, Angelo Frazier, led a group of hundreds of protesters from various churches to voice their opposition to a touring Christmas-themed drag show, “A Drag Queen Christmas.” The show, which features drag queens from “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” has been running for nine consecutive years and is currently touring 38 cities.

Pastor Frazier, who leads RiverLakes Community Church, described the event as “naughty” and “perversion,” citing its “sexual language” and “naughty comedy.” He argues that the show was “sexualizing Christmas” and that it was inappropriate for children and families.

“The message of Christmas is good will and great joy for all people,” Frazier said. “This, what’s happening here in Bakersfield, is a perversion of Christmas.” The pastor felt it was his duty as a Christian to speak out against the event.

2023: The Year of the Digital Jehu

In a prophetic word for 2023, Alexander Pagani shared that this past year would be the year that the digital Jehu would rise up with a boldness for the gospel. But who fit that description this year?

Just as Jehu wasn’t afraid of Jezebel, the Jehus were not to be afraid of standing up for the sake of the gospel, for the purpose of righteousness.

“It will be a time and the rise of the Jehus, the rise of the wild ones who will be sanctioned by God to be able to confront systems that have been oppressing God’s people and they’re not going to have that religious piety and policy-minded,” Pagani had said in an exclusive interview with Charisma News. {eoa}
