How Jesus Is Empowering His People to Enforce All He Accomplished

The Bible clearly tells us that Jesus conquered sin, death, the grave and Satan. He legally took the authority from Satan and gave His people authority in the earth to do the same works that He did.

When Jesus stated on the cross, “it is finished,” He meant it, and He left no loose ends. If this is the case, how come people are still dying, sin is still rampant, and we aren’t seeing the full effects of what He accomplished?

We are living in a critical time in human history. All things have been subjected to Christ rightfully and legally, but we haven’t yet seen all things subjected to Him in the natural. Why? Because God has never wanted to usher in His kingdom apart from human participation.

Jesus set the stage and made everything possible, and now He’s empowering His people to enforce all that He accomplished. Not only that, but God will never control and force the human heart to receive Him, so there must be a time period where people can have the option to respond and turn to Him.

Yes, the devil is defeated, but the Bible still calls him the prince of the power of the air because he is still deceiving unbelievers and blinding them to the truth. The good news is, his time is short. As believers, in this “already” but “not yet” time frame, we get to partner with Holy Spirit to see those trapped under the evils grip come into faith and life.

On the latest episode of Awaken Podcast, Michael Lombardo explores this subject deeply and shares hope for those who are battling in faith with the reality that we aren’t currently seeing a full manifestation of Christ’s victory all around us. It’s time for us as believers to live within this tension and to never give up pursuing everything Christ purchased for us. {eoa}
