How does the blood of Christ connect to the divine anointing that God has given you?

In his feature article of Charisma Magazine Online, pastor and evangelist Benny Hinn explains why the power of the blood of Christ makes such a difference in our lives so that we can be made whole and walk in the authority and anointing God has purposed for us.

“We have been redeemed and washed by the blood, but our walk needs to be cleansed by God’s Word every day,” Hinn writes. “Why? Because our lives constantly touch the dirt of the world every day. That’s why we need to come back to the Lord daily and say, ‘cleanse me anew and wash me again.'”

Hinn goes on to say in his Beyond the Article video that not only has the blood of Christ saved us and renewed us, but when we were saved the Holy Spirit immediately connected us to God as His own.

“The minute you and I were saved by the Holy Spirit, God touched our lives, and our hearts immediately connected with the Lord because we became one with Him in spirit,” Hinn says.

So, as the blood of Christ washes and renews us, the Holy Spirit connect us with God. It is as His child that He not only connects us to Himself, but He desires to do good works through us by anointing us to carry out His commands.

“Scripture after Scripture after Scripture [in] the Bible says He’s able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you ask or think according to the power that resides in you,” Hinn says. “That anointing very few people talk about…but it really is the power of God. It is God’s power at work in your life plain and simple.”

All of the power that God pours into us and the great ways He uses us all stem from that initial repentance and acceptance of Christ as our Lord and Savior.

“To many it sounds impossible that we can stand before God with the righteousness of Christ, but it is true,” Hinn writes. “Because the blood of Jesus is pure, we become pure in God’s sight.”

It is from Christ’s blood that we are saved, forgiven and brought into a new life. It is through His blood that the Holy Spirit redeems us and plants the dreams and visions inside of us that God has hand-picked for every single one of us to fulfill. The power of Christ’s blood is so much greater than we could ever imagine. {eoa}
