Changing the Culture One Brave Conversation at a Time

Share:

Over the coming months, I will be highlighting friends and associates I believe have something they are pursuing that will motivate, encourage and equip you to go after all the Father has for you.

This week, meet Leigh Sloan. Leigh has always had a great heart for discussion and listening to other opinions and expressing her own. Wisely she decided to create Brave Conversations, a podcast to open the door to differing ideas, concepts and mindsets. Or as she states it, “Together let’s be brave enough to think, brave enough to feel and brave enough to change the world one brave conversation at a time!”

Join me as I highlight one of Leigh’s interviews with Anchorage Christian Ministers Tommy Leonard and Cheston McCrea on issues related to the topic of racism. Tommy and Cheston tell stories of racism that they’ve experienced as well as issues related to police brutality and how Christians can be working together to correct the problem as well as pitfalls to avoid as we lean into communication with one another.

Leigh draws both the guest and the listener into her conversation. I hope you can see how you too have kingdom power and can invest in the lives of those around you. Make sure to visit her website at LeighSloan.com and connect with her podcast at Brave Conversations.

And make sure to listen to this episode of New Era Explorers titled Brave Conversations on the Charisma Podcast Network.

Next week, a young man I knew from Fort Worth, Texas, Andrew Fish, has a podcast called Raw and Relevant. We will hear an episode with prophetic voice and teacher David Wagner as Andrew converses on family, legacy and friendship with God. All important aspects as we enter the New Era.

Until next time—Have a great day! {eoa}
