If you thought the economic news was crazy during the first half of 2022, just wait until we get to the second half. So many of the problems that we are experiencing now are going to continue to intensify, and Americans are becoming more pessimistic about economic conditions with each passing day. In fact, as you will see below, a whopping 85% of us believe that it is “very likely” or “somewhat likely” that the economy will go through a recession at some point during the next year. Of course the truth is that if all we have to suffer through is a “recession,” we would be extremely fortunate. Our leaders have lost control of the economy, and many of us are extremely concerned about what is coming next. The following are 12 nightmarish economic trends that we should expect to see during the second half of 2022.

1. Gas prices will continue to surge higher, and many Americans will be shocked by how high they eventually go. If you can believe it, in Washington state at least one gas station has now reprogrammed its gas pumps “to make room for double-digit pricing”:

At the 76 Gas Station in Auburn, Washington located at 1725 Auburn Way North, gas pumps have been reprogrammed to make room for double-digit pricing. In March, they still had single-digit programming.

A spokesperson at 76 confirmed to The Post Millennial that the gas pumps were reprogrammed to allocate for double-digit pricing. Although not confirming that they are expecting prices to increase up to $10.00 or more, the current trend suggests the possibility.

America’s prominence on the world stage is rapidly declining, and Pastor Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, California, is warning Christians that the decline will likely continue. “You can’t insult the God of heaven in the United States and expect Him to hang around,” says Hibbs. “He’s not a punching bag.”

Hibbs says that because we’ve thrown God out of college, court, schools, textbooks and the public square, we can’t “expect Him to send rain or make the economy work.” He believes God’s been patient with us for decades but adds, “It is very evident. Time’s up.”

Although America is slipping from its leadership on the world stage, he says there is a way to still have some blessing as a nation. “The prerequisite to blessing according to the Bible, God said, ‘Bless Israel, and I’ll bless you.'”

The news media is creating a hubbub over monkeypox. What is this, and should we be concerned about another pandemic on the heels of COVID-19 with all its highly contagious and deadly variants?

Monkeypox. What is it?

According to Scientific American, “Monkeypox produces smallpox-like skin lesions, but symptoms are usually milder than those of smallpox. Flu-like symptoms are common initially, ranging from fever and headache to shortness of breath. One to 10 days later, a rash can appear on the extremities, head or torso that eventually turns into blisters filled with pus. Overall, symptoms usually last for two to four weeks, while skin lesions usually scab over in 14 to 21 days.”

A prominent Boston Hispanic Pentecostal pastor, known for his church’s social programs and conservative teaching, has died, according to his church.

Pastor Roberto Miranda’s death was announced Sunday (May 22) during services at Congregation Lion of Judah in Boston, which was streamed online.

“So many of those of you who are joining us watching this and hearing this for the very first time, we’re just simply letting them know that our senior pastor, beloved of all of us, Roberto Miranda, has graduated,” said Brandt Gillespie, who was leading the service at Lion of Judah.

Global COVID Summit, which represents 17,000 physicians and medical scientists, released its fourth declaration on May 11. Google censored the news by not allowing the group or its declaration to appear in its search results until the bottom of Page 3. On the DuckDuckGo search engine, it appeared at the top of Page 1.

The majority of headlines featured in the Google search results included these words: “Biden,” “White House,” “Global COVID-19 Summit” and “world leaders.”

Declaration IV accuses “big tech, media, academics, and government agencies” of profiting from the “orchestrated catastrophe” of COVID-19. Declaration IV takes aim at those institutions as well as accusing “Pfizer, Moderna, BioNTech, Janssen, AstraZeneca and their enablers” of fraud. {eoa}
