‘The Paradigm’ Author Jonathan Cahn: Pray for Those Who Reject Morality and Persecute Believers

Persecution has been discussed in the Bible nearly since the beginning of the world, and today, citizens of modern times are familiar with persecution as well—persecution for political views, religious beliefs and even personal characteristics.

In his new book, The Paradigm: The Ancient Blueprint That Holds the Mystery of Our Times (TheParadigmMystery.com), New York Times best-selling author Jonathan Cahn has a message for all those who have been persecuted: Love those who persecute you.

The Paradigm reveals how today’s cultural and political events were foretold by the Bible nearly 3,000 years ago. Cahn cites passages from 1 and 2 Kings to draw parallels between modern-day political figures and ancient leaders of Israel. The author also expounds on how Bill and Hillary Clinton are modern-day versions of Ahab and Jezebel, and how Donald Trump was foretold in the form of Jehu, the Israelite king whom God raised up to defeat Jezebel.

“In The Paradigm, people themselves become prophetic revelations—leaders on the modern world stage become the harbingers,” Cahn writes in the first chapter. “We will see ancient monarchs and modern presidents merging together, the reigns and actions of ancient kings governing the reigns and actions of modern leaders, ancient scandals lying behind modern scandals and the events of ancient times determining the course, the direction and the timing of the events of the modern world.”

Cahn also addresses Baal worship, which involved the offering up of children, and he compares this with Hillary Clinton’s pro-choice advocacy. He acknowledges how even radical feminists would call abortion “sacred” and “pagan,” supporting the connection between Jezebel, who participated in Baal worship, and Hillary Clinton.

“That any culture could permit the sacrificing of children is hard to fathom,” Cahn says. “But that such a thing could be considered a sacred act stretches the limits of comprehension. But this is exactly what took place in the ancient apostasy. Could even this facet of the paradigm correspond to the present day?”

At the same time, while the paradigm reveals these shocking parallels and exposes our culture’s increasing apostasy, Cahn also reminds readers of what the Bible says about loving those who reject godly morality and persecute Christians.

“We must, on one hand, strongly stand against any agenda that wars against the will of God and yet, on the other, pray for those who advance and execute such agendas,” Cahn says.

Cahn sounds a message of hope and a call to action. He emphasizes how, although the Bible is unchangeable, people can change. In The Paradigm, Cahn urges readers to pray for leaders to step out of their predecessor’s paradigm and help restore the nation to godly morality. The book serves as a warning for everyone who is immersed in Western civilization’s radical metamorphosis of values. It not only proves God’s active involvement in present-day affairs, but it also acknowledges how we are progressing toward God’s judgment and must recognize the reality of His sovereignty over all things.

“His workings take place not only in the sacred realm but in the secular realm, the political realm, the economic realm, the cultural realm, the spiritual realm, the natural realm—in every realm and in all things,” Cahn says.

The Paradigm, which was released in September and debuted in the top five of The New York Times and Wall Street Journal book charts, reveals a newly uncovered master blueprint and ancient template that foretells many events of modern history. The Paradigm also removes the veil behind the leaders, governments, events and scandals of modern times. Its disclosures are so detailed and its revelations so precise that it even speaks of events before they happen.

Cahn, who caused a stir throughout America and the globe with the release of his instant New York Times best seller The Harbinger, which sold over 2 million copies, followed that earth-shattering work with The Mystery of the Shemitah and The Book of Mysteries, also New York Times best-sellers. In fact, the mysteries of the immensely popular The Harbinger continue and are intertwined with the mysteries of The Paradigm.

The Paradigm is published by Frontline, an imprint of Charisma House.
