Franklin Graham Decries ‘Misgender’ Complaint That Won Trans Teacher Big Bucks

Mississippi's schools chief backed away on Wednesday from federal guidance to allow transgender students to use the bathrooms of their choice amid pushback from state leaders.

Evangelist Franklin Graham is fed up with the gender perversion waves that crash over America.

The speaker decried a recent situation in which a teacher claims coworkers refused to accept her as a man.

“Misgendered? A transgender 5th grade teacher in Oregon was awarded $60,000 from the school district after she complained that she had been harassed and ‘misgendered’ by coworkers, despite an official investigation stating differently,” Graham wrote.

According to The Oregonian, Leo Soell kicked off the recent school year as a transgender man. Fellow teachers referred to the teacher as “Miss” and “she,” while Seoll preferred to be labeled as the gender-neutral pronoun “they.”

She demanded the school board pay out because fellow teachers didn’t identify her by her preferred pronoun. The board complied and awarded Soell $60,000 in damages.

“The school’s principal emailed the staff new policies which require that all staff address transgender or gender non-conforming employees with their correct names and pronouns. The email also contained this threat, ‘If you are found to be in violation of these policies, you will be subject to discipline to and including dismissal.’ That’s incredible! Use ‘correct’ pronouns? Doesn’t a person’s DNA or birth certificate count for anything? Shouldn’t fact override fantasy? God created people male and female,” Graham wrote.
