Harvest America, an evangelistic crusade led by Pastor Greg Laurie that was held at American Airlines Center last year, will be held at AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys, in November 2015.

"Public proclamations of the gospel are disappearing across the national landscape," Laurie said. "I believe that Dallas-Fort Worth is one of the last bastions of a strong gospel culture, but  unless we fortify the status quo, I fear it will gradually slip away. That is why I feel an urgency to join with churches across denominational lines to do something big and bold in this community on what may be the grandest of all national stages—AT&T Stadium."

Last year's event attracted more than 20,000 to the American Airlines Center on Oct. 5, and tens of thousands watched the live simulcast. This year's event will be live simulcast around the country again.

Crusade organizers said they have asked the stadium to hold two Sunday dates, Nov. 1 and 8, and will select one after the Cowboys' schedule is announced in April. An organizational luncheon for area pastors will be held at 11:30 AM March 10 at the stadium.

Pastors and leaders on this year's advisory team include:

  • Dr. Mark Bailey, Dallas Theological Seminary;

  • Pastor Matt Chandler, The Village Church;

  • Dr. Tony Evans, Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship;

  • Dr. Jack Graham, Prestonwood Baptist Church;

  • Dr. Robert Jeffress, First Baptist Church of Dallas; and

  • Pastor Robert Morris, Gateway Church.

Laurie serves as senior pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship, based in Riverside, California, which oversees the Harvest Crusades. The ministry exists for the sole purpose of presenting the life-changing message of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible, and to help believers mature in their faith.
