Is Cancel Culture Being Canceled?

Could it be that cancel culture in America is being canceled?

The cultural disease that came upon the American scene in recent years may finally be getting its come-uppance as conservative voices are beginning to be heard. That is making the Left even angrier than before.

Country music artist Jason Aldean has become the latest example of conservative voices putting cancel culture in its place, but not before the liberal mob went after him for his newest single, “Try That in a Small Town.” The song’s lyrics speaks of how some might “sucker punch somebody on a sidewalk,” or “carjack an old lady at a red light,” or even “cuss out a cop and spit in his face.”

But the song’s title says it all, and the liberal media, Fox News Digital reports, has gone out of its way to censor it. Despite the media’s efforts, however, the song has risen to No. 1 on the iTunes country chart, and it debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot 100.

MSNBC blog writer Ja’han Jones called Aldean a “race hustler,” and labeled the song “essentially bigot bait.” The Daily Beast reported that “Aldean is just the tip of the racist iceberg for the country music business.”

Yet Aldean’s song has become a hit, and there isn’t much the leftists can do to stop it. Aldean, by the way, has 9.3 million followers on Facebook.

They couldn’t do it with Forgiato Blow’s “Boycott Target” song, which also reached No. 1 on the iTunes chart, nor country singer John Rich, whose song “Progress” went to No. 1 on iTunes when he released it on Rumble and the conservative social media app Truth Social.

Fox News attempted to silence one of its long-time hosts, Tucker Carlson, from espousing his conservative and faith-filled values and “prophetic voice” by firing him earlier this year. It has only lit a fire under Carlson, who is now determined more than ever to defeat cancel culture and its allies, like Fox owner Rupert Murdoch.

Another prime example of cancel culture’s weakening ability is the rise of the faith-based movie “Sound of Freedom.” The movie, which took five years to make it to theaters, was released on July 4 and has since made nearly $150 million at the box office. It has stunned the country, including the man whom the movie is based upon, former federal agent Tim Ballard.

The movie’s primary message of how widespread the tragedy of sex trafficking has become isn’t a popular one with the Left, which downplays the issue because they want open borders in America.

Charisma media columnist Lee Grady recently wrote, “I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but I’m suspicious of anyone who wants to downplay this crime or mock those who are fighting it. I hope those who are trash-talking ‘Sound of Freedom’ realize how guilty they sound.”

Another faith-based film, “Jesus Revolution,” topped the $52 million mark in box office sales, revealing that much of America has either stuck to or returned to kingdom values.

Yet another example of the impending fall of cancel culture is the Bud Light fiasco. The parent Anheuser-Busch Corporation has lost a whopping $27 billion in market value in the wake of its partnership with transgender person Dylan Mulvaney. Its stock continues to drop.

In June, it was reported that Walt Disney Co. had lost $900 million on their last eight studio releases, many of whom have introduced transgender and gay characters into movies that are supposed to be wholesome for children.

Also in June, it was reported that Target, after its attempt to promote LGBTQ Pride merchandise during “Pride Month,” had lost $15.7 billion in sales.

Even traditionally left-leaning media personalities like Bill Maher are standing up to the woke crowd in America, and being lauded by conservatives for doing so.

During the rise of cancel culture in America, Charisma Media CEO Stephen Strang made a strong case for not only conservatives but for Christians who were “fed up” with the woke mob that had arisen in America.

In his book, “God and Cancel Culture,” Strang wrote this passage to encourage believers to hold true to their kingdom values and stand up for what they believe is right:

“A mature believer knows the Christian walk involves dealing with seeming contradictions. Jesus Himself said, ‘In the world you will have tribulation. But be of good cheer. I have overcome the world.'”

God cancel cultureEvan Trinkle, a retired U.S. Army colonel, told Strang during the writing of the book, “Encourage your readers to be vocal. Now is not the time to be passive or think someone else will warn others. … Get involved in community, state and national issues. Don’t be timid to call local, state and federal officials. …

“Pray for God’s intervention. Pray for a great move of God upon the United States of America and around the world.”

Apparently, people are praying—and praying diligently—because the cancel culture itself appears it is being canceled.

Fox News’s Dan Gainor recently wrote, “What all this success adds up to is that it’s adding up. Big time. Conservatives are paying hundreds of millions of dollars and beating cancel culture the only way it can be defeated—with inspiring content that customers want.

“Maybe the free market will work after all, no matter how much the left tries to keep us un-free.” {eoa}
