'Preachers of Atlanta' Casts Grammy Winner Le'Andria Johnson

Grammy winner Le'Andria Johnson has been cast on Oxygen's Preachers of Atlanta, which is set to premiere in early February.

"Through the lens of five pastors with drastically different approaches to their ministry, the show explores many of the most hot-button and polarizing issues in America today," reads a release from Oxygen. "From passionate discussions surrounding the validity of unorthodox ministry methods to first-person accounts of the rippling and emotional effects of racial tensions with law enforcement, these unconventional preachers have no boundaries when it comes to tackling real issues that affect real people in their communities."

Johnson will join other popular preachers including Corey Hambrick, Canton Jones, Kimberly Jones-Pothier and Judah Swilley.

Johnson not only has a Grammy under her belt for best Christian music performance, she was also named as Billboard's No. 1 female gospel artist of the year in 2012, and took the Sunday Best title from BET home in season 3.

She is now the pastor at I.P.C. Ministries.

Johnson isn't the only cast member with a musical background.

ET Online qualifies Jones as a "media triple threat." He's been nominated for Grammys, Stellar awards and Gospel Choice awards.

His most recent album, God City USA, debuted in 2015. Canton is the pastor of Free Life Church.

Oxgen reports fifth-generation preacher Swilley also started releasing music as a tween, and his songs have gained national attention.

The other stars include pastor's kid and life coach Jones-Pothier and Life Church Christian Center's Hambrick

"Preachers of Atlanta features a young, vibrant group of pastors who are pushing the envelope and tackling real-world issues in their communities, creating thought-provoking dialogue," said Rod Aissa, Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Development, Oxygen Media. "The series showcases a new generation of preachers who, through their nontraditional approaches, are unapologetic in their ministry and unafraid to break down boundaries in an effort to drive positive change."
