When Pastor Greg Locke of Global Vision Bible Church in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, said that the world is facing an unprecedented threat from witchcraft and the occult, too many covered their ears because they did not want to hear what he had to say.
Now, witchcraft, the occult and paganism are exploding across the globe, and especially in the United States and Canada.
There is a spiritual war going on that is manifesting itself in physical ways that are too numerous to count.
From censorship, child mutilation and apostate churches becoming the norm, the opening of the doors to society’s heart gave the devil unprecedented reign to sow chaos, death and destruction not seen since the ancient days before Christ overcame sin and death. Demonic influence can manifest itself in a plethora of ways, some more grotesque than others.
After catching what looked like “two witches holding a carcass-eating ritual” near her home, nurse and nature lover Corinea Stanhope, 36, didn’t know what to think about what her trail cameras caught.
“I don’t know what the heck was up with that,” says Stanhope, of Powell River, British Colombia, to Kennedy News. “It really freaked us out, it’s not something you see every day.”
Stanhope and her grandfather, 76-year-old Bob, set up the camera aware of the dead deer and wanted to see what animals might pay the carcass a visit.
They got much more than they expected.
“Me and my grandpa put up a trail camera to see if we could see animals, and we got a bobcat [on camera], which was pretty cool,” Stanhope says, noting she and her grandfather were “horrified” when they saw the two women eating the deer carcass.
“I came the next day and Grandpa said he’d got naked people on the camera and I said, ‘No, you didn’t.’ So, he showed me,” Stanhope says.
Stanhope described the women appearing on the video approximately 10 minutes after sunset and that their hair looked “disheveled” as if they had wigs on.
“You can’t really tell from the photos, but the hoof was brought right up to her mouth,” she said. “I don’t know if she was kissing it, smelling or eating it, but to touch a decaying carcass like that makes me feel sick. The amount of bacteria that must have been on there.
“I was concerned about them messing with my horses at night,” Stanhope says. “The horses always get really spooked and unnerved around that area. I thought they imagined stuff at first, so I didn’t think anything of it. Maybe I believe them now.”
Disturbances to animals frequently is an identifier as to a demonic presence in the area. It is an oft-debated topic whether or not animals can sense things in the spirit world. The Bible even addresses this topic in the prophet Balaam and his donkey, who sensed the angel before them and prevented it from slaying Balaam.
According to Voice of Evangelism Ministries Founder Perry Stone, he is convinced the Bible provides enough evidence for animals sensing spirits around them:
“We have to ask ourselves, could the animal kingdom, at one time, communicate with men?” Stone asked. “Here is what the Jewish historian Josephus wrote about of the serpent in the garden, ‘All of the living creatures had one language. The serpent had an envious disposition … He (God) also deprived the serpent of speech, out of indignation at his malicious disposition toward Adam. Besides this, he inserted poison under his tongue, and made him an enemy to men.’ This implies that the animals could communicate with each other.
“Every animal communicates to its own kind; they are not just making a sound. … The human is the only one that can imitate almost any animal. However, each animal communicates to its own. But that leads us to the idea of this: Is the animal kingdom cursed, because the animal kingdom did not actually sin—except for the serpent, who beguiled Eve and was cursed to the ground—but God did not curse all of the other animals. The animal kingdom is not under that curse.”
Whatever occurred on the trail in Powell River, it is not normal.
As God is further removed from society, events like this are becoming more common because without the shelter of God’s protection, society itself is at risk of the oppression, torment and deception of the devil. {eao}
