Empowered21, a global organization that resources the worldwide Spirit-empowered movement, announced today that the next iteration of leaders has been selected to give leadership to the E21 USA Cabinet.

Alton Garrison (Assistant General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God) and Greg Surratt (Founding Pastor of Seacoast Church), current Co-Chairs of the E21 USA Cabinet, formally announced that, effective March 1, 2018, Scott Wilson (Senior Pastor of The Oaks Fellowship) and Kenneth Ulmer (Senior Pastor of Faithful Central Bible Church) will assume roles as Co-Chairs for the USA region of Empowered21.

“Empowered21 has been experiencing tremendous spurts of growth and collaboration around the world,” said Surratt, who will remain on the USA Cabinet. “It’s a movement of global proportions that continues to focus on raising up the next generation of Spirit-empowered leadership. This is the perfect time for us to welcome additional Kingdom influencers to the USA Cabinet.”

“This is exciting,” said Garrison, who will also stay on and lend his support to the USA Cabinet. “The passion and fervor that Ulmer and Wilson bring to their roles is contagious. I am confident that God has raised them up for such a time as this and that the USA Cabinet is in good hands.”

For his part, Pastor Wilson is enthralled. “Empowered21 plays such an important role in bringing together the Spirit-empowered community worldwide,” he said, “so being asked to be part of it at this level is a dream come true. I can’t wait to begin contributing to this audacious goal as a leader.”

In Wilson’s book, Clear the Stage: Making Room for God, he recounts how God unexpectedly spoke to his heart one Sunday to set aside personal and service agendas to make room for the Holy Spirit. The supernatural power of the Holy Spirit transformed lives that Sunday morning, and The Oaks Church was revived and experienced tremendous spiritual growth and increased ministry reach.

“In my entire ministry life, I’ve always been passionate about seeing the Holy Spirit move in every person on earth, especially when it comes to reaching and mentoring this next generation of Spirit-empowered believers,” said Ulmer. “This is such a wonderful opportunity to help guide, develop and deepen the vision of Empowered21 as we seek to hear and follow the Holy Spirit.”

Pastor Ulmer—prolific author, gifted communicator, and accomplished theologian—has a ministry sphere of influence that literally spans the globe and challenges the Body of Christ to victorious living through the power and presence of a living God.

“I look forward to introducing Pastor Wilson and Bishop Ulmer as E21 USA Co-Chairs at the Empowered21 Africa Congress during the week of Pentecost 2018,” said Dr. Billy Wilson, E21 Global Council Co-Chair and President of Oral Roberts University. “Both have already made a multi-continent impact through their participation with E21, and I am confident that their leadership for the United States region will be instrumental in seeing the needed fresh outpouring of God’s spirit upon new generations.”
