Urgent Prayer Alert Issued in Life-Changing Trial

Share:

Dear NRB Friends:

Please pray with me for Jack Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop, and the staff of our fellow NRB association member Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) as they argue Jack’s First Amendment case before the U.S. Supreme Court Tuesday.

As you may know, Jack Phillips was brought before the Colorado Civil Rights Commission in 2014 for declining to use his artistic skills to create a custom wedding cake for a same-sex ceremony, an exercise that would communicate a message in violation of his beliefs.

More information is available in this NRB Freedom Today article but, suffice it to say, Jack is on the front lines for us all as we desire to live in a truly free society tolerant of a biblical worldview. I hope you will join me in your prayer and pronouncements today supporting #JusticeforJack!

Sincerely,

Dr. Jerry A. Johnson, president and CEO, National Religious Broadcasters {eoa}
